Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.

I offer consultative supervision to a wide range of practitioners, especially those working at the intersection of health and social care, domestic abuse and family law. This work is based on the findings of my doctoral research that sought to improve professionals responses to marginalised groups of service users. Following my studies in this area, and my understanding of they way that service users can be profoundly affected by the helping or hindering responses of professionals, I offer training and consultative supervision to a variety of practitioners in counselling & psychotherapy, in health & social services, and in specialist domestic violence services. I champion reflective and reflexive practice where I will encourage you to examine your own attitudes, values, beliefs and opinions, in order to see your part in events, and to be critically evaluative of the theories that inform your work, so that you might avoid ideological thinking. In my research, I found that many practitioners lack reflective supervision because their supervisory meetings have become merely box-ticking exercises due to a lack of funding and time. The practitioners I spoke to were aware of this lack of space for self-reflection and the need to examine their own part in outcomes. I offer a safe, confidential space within which to do that so email or phone me to talk through your supervision needs.

Prices for supervision:

Nottingham: £75 per 90 minutes

London: £90 per 90 minutes
